Join us to watch the global launching and opening concert of the 2022 “Happy Chinese New Year” activities at 7:05 pm, Jan 27 (GMT+8). The concert will cover both Chinese and Western classics as well as Olympic-themed melodies with a slogan of “Joy, Harmony, Sharing, Dialogue”.

A wide variety of festive tunes will be staged online, including Chinese classic “SpringFestival Overture”, Frühlingsstimmen Walzer by famed composer Johann Strauss II, and orchestral music “Together for a Shared Future” – the theme song of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The concert features a star-studded lineup including celebrated conductor Tan Lihua, pipa (a Chinese lute with four strings) player Zhao Cong, erhu (two-stringed fiddle) player Song Fei, and singer Zhou Xiaolin.
