Introduction to the Centre

China Cultural Centre in Kuala Lumpur is the official cultural and tourism organization accredited by the Chinese government to Malaysia. According to the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Chinese and Malaysian governments on the establishment of a China Cultural Centre in Malaysia, the Center was registered in Malaysia in 2018 and officially opened on January 19, 2020. 

China Cultural Centre is also responsible for promoting the overall tourism image of China in Malaysia and Indonesia. The establishment of China Cultural Centre meets the needs of the continuous development of cultural and tourism cooperation between China and Malaysia, and is committed to becoming a broad platform for the Malaysian public to understand China and Chinese culture, as well as a bridge for the people of China and Malaysia to enhance mutual understanding and communication. 

With the multiple objectives of quality, popular accessibility, friendship and cooperation, China Cultural Centre revolves around the functions of national promotion, cultural activities, people-to-people dialogue, industrial promotion, tourism promotion, teaching and training, information services and the likes to provide various forms of cultural and tourism activities for all sectors of Malaysian society all year-round.

China Cultural Centre is located in the city center of Kuala Lumpur, close to the convenient transportation of Bukit Nanas light rail station with a total area of about 1200 square meters that encompasses exhibition hall, library, multi-function hall, classroom, conference room and so on. 

In the future, China Cultural Centre would meticulously organize all kinds of cultural activities, tourism promotion, Chinese and art training courses. It would also set up a library and provide book reading and other information services for the public. 

China Cultural Centre aspires to join hands with the cultural and tourism institutions of both sides to continuously strengthen the cultural ties between China and Malaysia through rich and colorful activities. We sincerely invite people from all walks of life in Malaysia to come to the Center to participate in its activities to learn about China’s history, culture and customs, and to feel the unique charm of Chinese culture.

Traffic Information:

China Cultural Centre in Kuala Lumpur is housed in Menara Bangkok Bank @ Berjaya Central Park, in the center of Kuala Lumpur, adjacent to Malaysia Tourism Centre (MATIC) which is only 5 minutes away from Malaysia’s iconic Twin Towers.

You can take public transport or park your car in the underground parking lot in the building.

  1. You can park your car in the underground parking lot of Menara Bangkok Bank @ Berjaya Central Park (B1). The following is the charge for the parking lot: 
    • Monday to Friday (07:00AM-17:59PM): RM 8.00 (per hour) 
    • Monday to Friday (18:00PM-06:59AM): RM 6.00 (per entry) 
    • Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday: RM 10.00 (per entry) 

    After parking the car, please take the parking elevator to the first floor, turn left, and you will see the direction of the sign for the China Cultural Centre in Kuala Lumpur on the wall in front of you. 

    Please follow the sign and take another elevator to the second floor.

  2. By public transport, you can take Kuala Lumpur Monorail to get off at Bukit Nanas station.
