As the Olympic Winter Games draws the world’s attention, an increasing number of foreign tourists are eager to learn and know more about China. Using this opportunity, the “Journey through Ice and Snow,” a Winter Travel Short Film Showcase of Northern China will talk about the 7 provinces and cities from Northern China, namely Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Beijing, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning, showcasing the winter scenic spots and winter culture of each province.

Each province will make one film which will last for 1 minute or 2, totaling 7 of them. The films explore places of interest for winter travelling in these provinces and listing their individual representative cultural elements, adding immersive experience, health care, and sports events. We hope to attract foreign tourists and interest them in Northern China. In order to help promote the winter cultural exchange between China and the rest of the world, we are making these promotional videos in the run-up to the upcoming Olympic Winter Games.
