“Charming Silk Road — Journey along Gansu” is a Chinese folk symphony that draws the artistic essence from the cultures of the Silk Road, Dunhuang and western Chinese ethnics. It shows the profound and unique fascination of Chinese culture and reproduces the prosperity and enchantment of the ancient Silk Road through the melodious rhythm produced by Chinese folk musical instruments. The performance is composed of Colorful Gansu and Charming Silk Road with 10 classic rhythmic and high-pitch pieces. The artists tell the ancient story of the Silk Road with their superb performance and skills, manifesting the heroic feelings of the people of Longyuan in western China.

The contents describe the tremendous changes that have taken place in ethnic minority areas after the reform and opening up, and show the joy of the people’s happy new life.
