The Harmonized Silk Road, Beautiful Gansu — Gansu in Chinese Traditional Music series short videos have been classified into three chapters: The Silk Road Ensemble, The Yellow River and Melody of Auspiciousness. They are the most representative three themes of Gansu respectively representing the Dunhuang Culture, the Yellow River Culture and the local culture. Taking the three themes as the starting points, four instrumental music performers Song Fei, Wu Yuxia, Zhu Jianping and Zhang Gashong revealed the unique charm of beautiful natural landscapes, rich historical culture and abundant folk customs and practices of Beautiful Gansu by playing some traditional musical instruments with strongest national characteristics such as erhu, pipa and sanxian.
Chapter 1 The Silk Road Ensemble
The Silk Road Ensemble recalls the prosperous scenes along the Silk Road that happened over 1,000 years ago through dance accompanied by pipa music, in which emissaries looked into the distance and merchants ceaselessly travelled along the Silk Road, based on multiple world natural and cultural heritage sites in Gansu Province, China. The pictures of the real scenes selected for the instrumental music performance such as natural sceneries, international cultural tourism cities and historical remains that have been protected reproduce the unique cultural charm of the Silk Road Pearls.

Chapter 2 The Yellow River
The Yellow River reveals both the scenes of harmony between nature and people in the Gansu Section of the Yellow River Basin and the unique charm of the Yellow River culture of Gansu Province through pictures of the real scenes selected for the instrumental music performance such as the Three Gorges of the Yellow River, the Yellow River Stone Forest, the Nine Bends of the Yellow River and the First Bridge of the Yellow River.
